Richardson stays on the move.

2: Number of advertisements released by the Richardson campaign on May 10 as part of its “job interview” ad series. The ads—filmed recently in New Hampshire and produced by the Virginia marketing firm Murphy Putnam Media—wryly poke fun at the governor’s underdog status while hyping his résumé.

3: Number of states Richardson visited during his May 8-14 campaign swing last week. Richardson made stops in New York (for fund raising and closed campaign events), New Hampshire (as the keynote speaker to the International Association of Fire Fighters State Directors’ Convention) and California (for various campaign events).

1: Number of times Richardson has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno since declaring his candidacy. The governor’s California road trip included a May 11 Leno appearance in which Richardson touted (surprise!) his résumé.

1: Number of times Richardson has appeared on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart since announcing his candidacy.

1: Number of official endorsements Richardson received from May 8-14. Gloria Molina, a Los Angeles County supervisor purported by the Richardson campaign to be “one of the most influential political leaders in Southern California,” officially endorsed the governor May 11 in Monterey Park.

4th: Place held by Bill Richardson among announced candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination (behind Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards) in the latest national polls. Richardson is also fourth in total campaign contributions, total number of Google hits and total Facebook supporters. The governor is fifth in MySpace friends (behind the previous three and Dennis Kucinich) and sixth in total YouTube hits (behind the previous four and Joe Biden).

$2.79 million: Total contributions given by New Mexico donors to the Richardson campaign, according to the latest campaign finance reports.
