If the arrival of the holiday shopping season has taken you by surprise, you’re not alone. Here at SFR, we also were a bit jolted to realize it was time for the first of our two seasonal gift guides (guess it’s not August anymore).
Fortunately, Santa Fe’s many local businesses are more than ready, and the stores highlighted in this issue have many items to choose from as well as knowledgeable, enthusiastic staff to help you find what you're looking for. We’ve given you a jump by offering our suggestions for gifts that provide not just fodder for under the tree, but also hours of entertainment. Wherever possible, of course, we provide choices from local and independent stores, of which Santa Fe is lucky to have in full and thriving force.
This week, we highlight gift ideas for DVDs, music, books, food, games and gear. On Dec. 6, look for more options in the fashion, body, kids, outdoors and artsy arenas. Until then, don’t let the sunshine fool you—the holidays are just around the corner.
