He's your Internet. And don't you love him? I mean, can you even remember the days when you had to disconnect your computer to call someone, and the whole thing would crash if you opened Oregon Trail at the same time as, well, anything? Sadly, some people still live that way.

"Depressed by dial-up?" reads the Twitter pitch for Feb. 15, the national day of action for the Show Your Love for Broadband campaign. The "SYL" initiative, as those in the know call it, is affiliated with the Center for Media Justice and the New Mexico Media Literacy Project.
