When Santa Fe mayoral candidate Asenath Kepler lost the March 2 mayoral election—pulling 4,400 votes, or roughly one-third of the votes cast—she
promised to
stay involved. At least for know, we know how she plans to do so:
As chairwoman of Adam Kokesh's Congressional campaign committee.
"He is the only Republican who can win in this district," Kepler says in a statement.
Kokesh of Santa Fe faces Farmington Republican Tom Mullins—most recently
in the news for expressing his fears about
forced civilian disarmament—in the June 1 primary election. Whoever wins will challenge US Rep. Ben Ray Luján, D-NM.
That Kokesh supports Kepler and vice-versa is no surprise, given their
shared philosophy. And speaking of Tea Partiers, it looks like they'll be
protesting again this year on April 15.
