Police Charge Man with Murder, Tampering with Evidence in Torreon Park Death

Police have charged Felix Martinez, 42, with an open count of murder and tampering with evidence in the case of David Martinez, who was found dead in an empty lot across from Torreon Park.
According to the Santa Fe County Adult Detention Facility website, Martinez was booked at 1 pm today and is being held without bond. Police say charges for Sam Leyba are forthcoming in the same case.
