1 Santa Fe Baking Co.
504 W. Cordova Road
505-988-4292
In what can be considered a bit of an upset in a competitive category, the Baking Co. takes first place with its killer burrito and charming ambiance.
Its open, airy layout is perfect for people watching; the cheap coffee and free Wi-Fi keep the place busy even at off hours. (We hate to mention the parking, but come on, it’s true. How nice is it to be able to park right out front when you’re starving and in a rush?) We love it that the Baking Co. offers so many options for burrito fillings: sausage, turkey sausage, chorizo AND veggie sausage?
All four, please! And hey, these aren’t tiny burritos. The regular burrito is big enough for a horse; the Burrito Grande, with its side of black beans, well, let’s just say it’ll keep you going until you finish going through your emails and need to head back up to the counter to order lunch.
