Whole Foods Market

While The Beatles may have wanted to “do it in the road,” apparently Santa Fe wants to do it in the vegetable aisle. Or maybe by the cheese samples. Wherever it is, something about Whole Foods makes us randy. Perhaps it’s the vulnerability. After all, how can a person with a box of organic cotton tampons, reverse osmosis water and kale in their basket really front? Associate Store Team Leader Wendy Steinberg thinks Whole Foods is a happenin’ singles joint “because the food is fabulous and fresh, and so are the people.” Most of the macking, according to Steinberg, takes place at the samples and at the registers. “Lines can be a bad thing, but depending on who you are, they can also be a really good thing,” she says.
