We already love Counter Culture for lunch (you know, with its tangy tom yum soup and hearty, chipotle-laced chicken sandwiches) and breakfast (featuring the most atrociously rich French toast you'll ever eat), but wait 'til you try it for dinner. For a few months now, our favorite little spring roll spot has been serving up a varied and delight-inducing supper menu. Check out the moderately priced hanger steak, sided with creamy garlic mashed potatoes and kale, or go veggie with the curried vegetable plate, a dish that manages to combine the odd combo of squash, eggplant, greens and a chutney featuring large, juicy chunks of fresh mango. The evening atmosphere's a little sparse, to be sure, but the rest of the menu isn't; you could eat there seven days a week and never get bored. We know, because we've done it.
