A special thanks to Jettboy for this feel-good image taken out front of Java Joe's in DeVargas.
In case you're one of those naysayers who thinks cancer is tragic and depressing, this fun-filled float is here to change your mind about the oft-beleaguered disease. It showcases the lighter side of cancer: It can be bright, fun and unabashedly cool. It also can be spread by flatbed.
Also, all that maleficence you might have heard about from anti-cancer pundits, well, that's actually just a bunch butterflies emerging from their cocoons to find, you betcha, a warm and sunny spring day.
And what's that darling little flatbed? The flatbed reads, "Every day, we're making it less scary." True, and not unlike what the tobacco companies did once people became afeard of cigarettes or how that crap at the dentist's office can taste like delicious bubblegum.
