Although there are some great shots in the queue for the upcoming "Santa Fe Boyfriends and Cars" post—send me some more photos of the boyfriends Market brought to town—I couldn't pass up a more timely photo (read: an opportunity to make fun of children's art).
Apparently members of IAIA's Culture Club (a kids' club?) were trying to one-up the rest of the food vendors in town for Indian Market weekend by putting something special in the mix. Presumably the "magic" in these Frito pies is one of the brightly colored magic marker wiggles in this chromatic morass—what looks to be lobster eyes, seaweed and mermaid shells. Or drugs.
Whatever the magic was, and as the smiley face on the drawing ensures, customers were happy with the confection and the kids hopefully made more than enough money to support their "club."
