Santa Feans line up to share their gloom at the 2009 Will Shuster's Zozobra
Ah yes, the mornings are a little cooler, the days are a little shorter: Fall is (almost) here and, with it, Santa Fe's greatest, weirdest, coolest tradition: the burning of Old Man Gloom.
, the event at which a giant puppet is burned to signify the end of the year's woes, will happen at dusk, Thursday, Sept. 9. As always, Zozobra kicks off the start of

Also, as always, SFR is the official collection spot for Santa Feans' woes. --- Come by our office, 132 E. Marcy St., any week day up until Sept. 8 to drop off your love letters, sad thoughts, divorce papers etc., and we'll make sure your gloom is stuffed into Zozobra prior to the burn.
