This week, Pages & Stages went out to Wise Fool New Mexico's annual Feast of Fools fundraiser, a combination of circus acts, dinner theater, tapas and a dance party.---
This year's event, Love in Three Rings , was held at Moving People Dance Center, and SFR helped sponsor the feast for the fourth year in a row. Performances early in the evening—Button Wagon by Ember Bria and Matt "Poki" McCorkle, a multi-instrumental performance by musical duo GoGoSnapRadio, contortionists, trapeze artists, Spanish web performances and more—were colorful and animated, but the offerings grew a bit tired as the night wore on. Still, the food—provided tapas-style by La Boca, Amavi, Tree House and Dinner for Two—was palatable and the environment lively, and proceeds from the event benefit Wise Fool's social justice and arts programming , and a dance party with DJs Miss Ginger , Feathericci and Frey .
