Moussaka, souvlaki, tabbouleh, oh my. Indeed, almost any Mediterranean/North African/Greek delight you like has its place on the generous and very affordable menu of Pyramid Café. The popular Cordova Road eatery (which now has

a second location in Los Alamos) is a great place to grab a $5.95 falafel sandwich for lunch or to fill up on a more elaborate entrée, such as a roasted leg of lamb. But the best way to eat at Pyramid is with a big group of friends, so you can share plates of dolmas (stuffed grape leaves), baba ghanouj, spanakopita and, um, curly fries (there are also a variety of pasta dishes and a Philly cheesesteak plate on the menu, but we can't attest for those at this time). Whatever the case, bring your crew on a Thursday night, when Pyramid hosts a rotating group of bellydancers who perform in the back room while diners dip warm pita bread into spicy hummus. If you ever need to feel you've left Santa Fe for a night, Pyramid offers the opportunity, with its international clientele and menu. And if you're cramming for any sort of deadline, consider one of the bracingly strong Turkish coffees with a yummy order of baklava. Bonus: Pyramid has wireless in case you want to linger over that Turkish coffee while checking your e-mail.
