Grants from the Public Service Company of New Mexico will light up a handful of Santa Fe arts venues and save the nonprofits money they're spending now on inefficient bulbs. PNM's list of "Reduce Your Use" grants of up to $5,000 this year includes the Lensic Performing Arts Center, which will purchase and install five LED light fixtures for the theater catwalk and trap room. National Dance Institute (NDI) will replace its halogen track light fixtures in the dance barns with dimmable LED lighting. The same change will take place at Site Santa Fe in the Santa Fe Railyard. The Center for Contemporary Arts is also getting a lighting upgrade in its exhibit spaces, Cinematheque and offices.
