Though a proposed March 2012 bond package may include $3 million for broadband, Santa Fe still lags behind the rest of northern New Mexico, where county and local officials broke ground on a high-speed internet project Sept. 19.
"Tres Piedras [in northern New Mexico]…is where I used to hunt deer," Coss told SFR.
"Tres Piedras has broadband, and we don't? Let's make that investment."
