How to Celebrate Spring Like a Man
***image2***
Are you tired of the same dull
dinner party where your fellow parentals whine about fatigue, hurried children and which hair artist does the best cut 'n' color in town?
Instead of slicing yourself with a steak knife for an easy escape to Urgent Care,
why not spice up your parties without self-inflicted wounds? Throw a salsa and beer party! Using Mark
Miller's
The Great Salsa Book
as a guide, create 4 or 5 fiery salsas and serve them with tortillas, chopped toppings, and if your sissy vegetarian pals are still at the Ashram, grilled flank steak and chicken. Tell your friends to hire a babysitter and bring plenty of imported beer. When the fire of the chile peppers greets the cool tide of the brew, your friends can't help but become far more interesting. On a musical note: Right before your guests arrive, slip in The Clash's first album and turn it up to 11. Anyone asking for sour cream or lower volume gets tossed. No exceptions.
Do it yourself:
