How to Be a Tourist in Your Own Town
***image1***
Strap on your fanny pack, grab your clip-on shades and don't forget your camera. Start the day off right with an historic walking tour, or go for a half-day trip through pueblos and ghost towns. If you prefer, take a bicycle tour or go all out and charter a plane for a serious exploration of the surrounding area. Next, don't forget to stumble out into the middle of San Francisco Street in front of those ubiquitous SUVs straining to get a good look at St. Francis Cathedral. Now it's time for a stroll down Canyon Road stopping at all the fine galleries to fondle as many pieces of art as possible without ever quite deciding on one. Finally, stumble into a busy restaurant and ask a waiter where you parked. Tell him it was next to that jewelry store. Complete the illusion by checking into a nice hotel downtown.
