If you don't know already how awesome Amavi's bar menu is, it's time to try—and tonight, you can justify it with a great cause: Santa Fe's own Breast Wishes Fund.
---
Tonight's "High-End Happy Hour" is the brainchild of local filmmaker and breast cancer activist Lexie Shabel, whose Breast Wishes Fund (a nonprofit sponsored by the Santa Fe Community Foundation) offers information about alternative options for preventing and healing breast cancer.
The happy hour—which requests a $50 donation to the Breast Wishes Fund at the door—will feature "a sexy menu of healthy, seasonal, feminine-inspired foods" by Amavi's kick-ass chef, Megan Tucker (and drinks, of course).
If you're not into the high-end stuff, Breast Wishes is also hosting a free forum on integrative medicine at the Center for Progress and Justice on Saturday, with the goal of better informing the public about breast cancer.
And if you want the drinking PLUS the free, come to MIX next Thursday , where Breast Wishes hosts a "Tit Print" party-within-a-party and the free drinks always flow.
