A debate broke out between members of the Santa Fe Public Schools Board of Education at its meeting last night over the idea to investigate a misleading report on student achievement used earlier this year to evaluate the district superintendent. Click through for video!

Board member Steven Carrillo went head to head with member Frank Montaño, who served on the previous board that approved Superintendent Bobbie Gutierrez' contract extension in February. As SFR previously reported, controversy has erupted around a report used in her evaluation which was later revealed to present a misleadingly rosy picture of student achievement.
