I can't believe it's already time to start thinking about back-to-school, Fiestas, Indian Market ... It feels like I haven't done all the cooking out, picnicking or ice cream-eating that I wanted to do. I'll have to double down for the next few weeks. It's ice cream barbecue in a basket every day for the next month.
Let's FORK!
Two reminders:
1) The Santa Fe County Fair is happening NOW, so head over to the fair grounds on Rodeo Road. The full schedule of events can be found HERE. It's free—there is no reason not to go.
2) The Santa Fe Farmers Market community picnic is Friday Aug. 11. Get tickets HERE. Please RSVP for this, as they are using the ticket sales to account for the amount of food prepared.
I've had a pretty nasty illness this week. What do you do when you're sick and can't call your mom? I lean hard into bad TV, Gatorade, and Wheat Thins. Not the healthiest of options, but they get me through.
Have a great week!
Michael
