What was the must-steal item of the 2009 holiday season? A "little bit of everything" thieves could get their hands on, according to Municipal Court Judge Ann Yalman, who sees the city's least ambitious shoplifters.
SFR compiled the following list from Santa Fe Police Department reports of items stolen between Dec. 22 and the early morning hours of Dec. 31, 2009:
• Alprazolam (Xanax) and Tramadol (painkillers)
• A Bianchi duty belt and holster ($200) and a Glock 21C .45 handgun
• Binoculars

• A bottle of wine from a desk in a real estate office downtown
