The start of another week and we are getting ever-closer to the elections in November.

If you get the emails from just about any campaign, you were informed that Sunday marked 100 days to the election. A little more than three months. A little more than a million attack ads (give or take).
Campaigns are spending every weekend knocking on doors and will only intensify this as they zero in on undecided voters. I came home from work on Saturday to flyers from Michelle Lujan Grisham and Martin Heinrich. I wouldn't be surprised to have a flyer from Heather Wilson tucked into my door in the near future.
Anyway, the pace of the marathon is starting to pick up. In the fear of straining this metaphor to the breaking point, we're in the final 5K of the race -- and before you know it, we'll be in a sprint.
